In short – just over a year ago I started working back in the Office full time virtually (4+ days per week) as I got sick of my own 4 walls (yes, it costs me more, I can live with that, I'm winning in other ways) and as a result started wearing workshirts more regularly again. Work doesn't stipulate it but it's in an office at worst I'm doing smart casual (work shirt, smart jeans, trainers or formal shoes). Predictably I've put elbows through about 5 over the last year (where they were old – 10+ years – and between wear and washing were on their last legs). M&S used to be my go to for work wear (wasn't looking for anything extravagant and it did the job) but now the bulk of their stuff in store seem to be all poly cotton and without pockets? I almost got the vibe that people don't go to work any more and so we don't stock them in store? So my question – where are we buying cotton workshorts with a collar and pocket these days?
