We are in the final stages of moving in, and it's the frist time I will love together with someone so not sure what the "rules are", but I assumed that both people get like 50/50.
I'm a gamer, and I have a lot of accessories and stuff related to that. Plastic figures, paintings, patches and such.
In the corner of our living room I would like my things, and she could have the rest. So a bookshelf with my game collection and accessories, and paintings on the wall, next to my computer. The bed room is too small for a big desk and a gaming chair, that is usually bigger than a normal office chair.
She won't allow it as it'll look ugly and ruin the overall atmosphere in the room and suggested a smaller bed so that I can have it in the bedroom instead. The bedroom thar nobody else but us will enter.
It's a small 55 square meter apartment, so there's not an infinite amount of space.
It's the only thing I really want. The rest of the flat is hers to do whatever she wants with as I'm not that decor interested. I want like 5% of the total area.
How can we reach an understanding?
