Hi all,
I (F24) and my partner (M24) have a very playful relationship and we make jokes at eachother often, sarcasm etc. It’s one of the reasons we get on so well. We’ve been together for almost four years.
I am 9 weeks pregnant, so not sure if I’m over sensitive due to this. There have been two occasions recently where we have been being playful, and he attempts to trip me up as a joke. Which usually I’m fine with, but I don’t know if this is a warning sign of something worse to come?
We also watched the new movie ‘the Housemaid’ today. We were bantering before and during the movie. The scene when the female character is locked in the attic, he said as a joke ‘I’m going to do that to you if you carry on!’
I don’t know if I’m just being sensitive and pairing irrelevant things together.
I’m very paranoid about things like domestic abuse due to my mum going through it.
I guess I just want outside insight into this?
