My girlfriend’s purse is more interesting than mine, which mostly just has my phone, weed, a money clip, headphones, chapstick and some lipstick, a face mask, and my keys lmao.
Theirs has like a million things but also a stun gun. Which is metal as fuck.

Mini hairbrush, lipgloss, a lollipop or cereal bar in case I need a snack. Ear plugs in case public transport gets too loud and some cash for an emergency. Hopefully a hair elastic and a pen too

I’ve managed to cram all the essentials into a smallish bowling-style bag:
Folding hairbrush, comb, tweezers, nail clippers, mirror compact, ear plugs, eye drops, lip balm, lotion, sanitizer, bandaids, advil, hearing aid batteries, gum, emergency face mask, perfume, emergency tampons/pads/liners, alka seltzer, safety pins, hair ties, pens, mini notebook, compact shopping bag, work entry badge, wallet.
I use a bag organizer insert, so it’s not just rattling around the bottom of the purse.
Wallet. Headphones. Giant Vaseline stick. Change. 5 checks that I need to cash. Library books for me and my kids.

Whew.

My purse is a backpack and I have everything we need. Wallet, hairbrush, basic makeup, hand sanitizer, alcohol wipes, bandages, playing cards, earbuds, screw driver, eyeglass screwdriver, screws, a thing to magnetize the screwdrivers, weed, needle nose pliers, nippers, nail clippers, knives, mace, tampons, paper clips, pen, notebook, keys, condoms, mini Lysol, paint can opener, bottle opener, face mask, a couple cool rocks I found, collapsible funnel, mini magnifying glass, hair ties, chap stick, hand lotion…….ummmm…..loose change, rubber bands, electrical tape, phone charger, gardening gloves, Tylenol…..maybe I got it all….it’s a little much. I’m workin on scaling back a lil bit.

Bone conducting ear buds, an army sewing pouch I found years ago that holds much more than it should. At the moment there’s a sewing kit, a small multi tool, measuring tape, bandaids and a fire steel.
Makeup, deodorant, body spray and a travel atomiser of perfume.
Gloves, a couple of fold up totes, foldup hairbrush, spare sanitary pad, a little toothcare kit and a little earcare kit.
A little token and affirmation from a locally famous Dom I bumped into and chatted with for hours in a dungeon some months ago.
Some painkillers, a usb fan and a random sachet of mayonnaise
Literally every receipt ever.
In all seriousness usually my kosas tinted lip balm, sanitizer, my wallet, if I’m going to eat out I bring my IBS meds that I have in a rilakkuma candy tin that I repurposed to make my drugs ✨ cute ✨. And now that it’s -30 where I live, my gloves so my fingers don’t freeze off.
The better question for me is what don’t I carry in my purse?
I will also add that I actually have a canvas bag that I carry everything in, including my purse. So technically all that’s ever in my ‘purse’ is the basics, wallet, lip stuff, tampons, mints, Kleenex, and lozenges. My overall bag has so much shit in it that I rarely use but feel like I might. It is a bag for many other smaller bags of stuff 🙂

I know it’s too much but if I need anything I don’t have to run around to get that.
