We are both 19 and I'm kind of a very emotional Overthinker kind of guy and she's this beautiful but nonchalant woman who I've known since early high school. We started dating a couple months ago. Because it's Christmas she's in another city with family but she's been distant and just extra nonchalant around me but with her friends she's practically glowing. She just says she's shy around me which I completely understanda but this just feels so different and I'm scared to ask for reassurance and I don't know why. And honestly it's weighing on me a lot.
