Why can copyright infringement carry a higher prison sentence than violent crime in the UK? Aren’t custodial sentences supposed to be for those who are a threat to the public?

Was reading about this old news story from 2023, a man was jailed for three and a half years for selling copyright infringing posters

It just seems utterly absurd to have a non violent criminal jailed for that long, when you have suspended sentences at times for people committing actual physical violence towards others?
