I (24F) and my boyfriend (22M) have been dating for about 5 months now. We first met on Discord via some mutual online friends, and he came to visit me in August for 3 months (he lives in the US and I live in Australia). Everything has been going okay since then, but lately I've noticed some signs that make me think he might be gay. Now, I've got nothing against gay people, but I don't really want to be in a lavender relationship.
The reason I've started to suspect as much is because of all the musicals I've learned he likes. I know straight men can also enjoy these things, but he sings them all the time. Most of it is Hazbin Hotel, and ever since season 2 came out, it's been non-stop singing in our calls now that we're not physically together anymore. What really kicked off my worries is when he started to look up and show off fanart of Angel Dust that he said he found cool, much more than any other character. He doesn't really show much interest in the female characters, and it's starting to feel like he doesn't have as much interest in me either. There's been some nights that I've wanted to engage with him, but he always act disinterested or say he's not in the mood. I get it can be awkward over the internet, but I just can't get this worry out of my head.
Has anyone dealt with something like this before? Any thoughts or advice would really help.
