Hello Blighty, I'm seeking help in trying to convince my friend who is skeptical of England's charm.
We are traveling to Ireland and Britain in April next year, and we are planning our itinerary. We are attending a match at Anfield, which is our main reason for going. He believes that England is London, and aside from us loving Liverpool, there's not much worth seeing, and we should spend most of the time in Ireland with quick stops in Liverpool and London.
Now I love Ireland, don't get me wrong, but I am trying to convince him to add a place or two somewhere between Liverpool and London that are amazing. I also love London, but we have both been and will probably both go again. So what spots would you recommend? Seeing as we are hitting up a lot of cities, I would like something idyllic and very English, but I'm open to any suggestions.
Help me win an argument for England
