Have some freshly brewed tea about potentially meeting someone organically without even leaving my apt complex.
I (26F) saw my neighbor (26M) for the first time about a month ago and had a brief convo about my plants as I was outside watering them and I thought he was nice and even cute. A few weeks later we had some strong winds that knocked some of my patio stuff off on his and I didn’t notice until like a week later (rip bird feeder and a few planters). I felt kinda bad so I left him a note apologizing, it was pretty sarcastic and flirty now that I’m thinking about it, with a little plant that I had propagated with some care instructions. He wrote a note back a few days later fully matching my energy and thanking me for the plant leading me to invite him over for a little game night and drinks with my roommates and I. It was a great little game night and we were just joking with each other and flirting the entire time and my roommate very boldly confirmed that he’s single lol.
This was last weekend..should I reach out at all again or just wait for him to? Or invite him over for another game night? We have each other’s number now. I kinda swore off dating upon starting grad school a few years ago but feel like this could be worth exploring if feelings indeed are mutual. Anywayyy let me know your thoughts.
