[M/F 30s] My FWB has been avoiding meeting up but he keeps texting me. A couple weeks ago, I gave him an out by letting him know it’s fine if he doesn’t want to continue. To my surprise, he said he wants to continue the arrangement. However, since then, he has again declined my two booty call attempts.
Why did he say he wants to continue the FWB if he did not actually intend to meet up? Can someone derive that much validation from texting?
I am fully aware how juvenile this sounds and understand that he’s not that into me and wants to have his cake etc. I’m obviously not going to continue to initiate.
