I (22M) have been happily dating my girlfriend (29F) for 3 years now and we live together. Every now and then she decides to cut her hair short because she doesn't like her how her hair looks when it's long and whenever she does, she looks like Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter movies. It has happened a couple of times now as she tends to cut her hair often and I don't know how to approach it. If it was any other thing, I would just jokingly mention it as I'm known to make jokes a lot, but my girlfriend hates being compared to fictional characters she dislikes and I've had to sit through multiple rants as to why movie Draco Malfoy is in every way worse than book Draco Malfoy. How do I approach this subject without hurting her feelings? I love her a lot and would hate doing/saying anything that would cause her to get upset but I also don't want to wake up to Draco Malfoy every couple of months or so.
