I always see hall monitors on tv and movies but my school district never had them.

did anyone in the united states have hall monitors and if they did what were their duties??

edit: i have more questions

  1. when/where did you go to school,
  2. did the hall monitors not have classes when everyone else did?
  3. who was chosen?
