We matched on Hinge 3 weeks ago. He (M26) arranged a date the day after we matched, talked non-stop about how great he was, but seemed much sweeter when we were left alone. We went to his place and made out, parted on a good note, but didn’t exchange numbers or arrange a second date. 2 weeks later I was bored and messaged him on Hinge asking if I could have seen him the day before. He replied immediately telling me it wasn’t him, saying he had been too busy at work to ask me out and suggesting that we meet again. I asked what time suited him, and he didn’t reply asking for my number instead. I gave it to him, and he never read that message. I waited for 5 days, assuming he could really be busy, then double texted him again my better judgement, and he read all of my messages straight away just to ignore me. Please tell me what to make of it! If he could have simply ignored my ‘Was it you?’ message or drily tell me it hadn’t been him, why did he ask me out if he didn’t want to talk to me again? I know for sure he hasn’t found anybody else as he complained about having no matches. I am confused and honestly a bit upset and want to prevent such situations from happening to me in the future!
