When dating, do you feel more comfortable going to their place or bringing them back to yours the first time you’re going to be alone and why?

my place just because i’m most comfortable in my own space
Their place, i can leave whenever i want. If the guy a creep, he doesn’t know where I live.
Tell someone close where you are.
I usually used to meet in a neutral third location a few times before giving someone my address or going to their place. I always said no to offers of picking me up because it makes me uncomfortable giving my location away to someone I don’t know. Even then I prefer my place for the first few times because I have roommates and I feel it’s safer that way.
I understand my views might seem a little extra but I had a stalker problem before and I do everything I can so i don’t get another
I usually feel safer at my place since I can leave the vibe whenever I want.
First time– I don’t mind provided I can run away when I want like Cinderella. With a ready, solid exit strategy.
There are pro and cons for both I guess, it really depends on how well you know your date trust etc and how comfortable you feel bringing them back too your home.
Personally I would like to go back too there place as I can leave when I want and if they want me too leave i can.
Neither, I would go to a hotel, so I can leave anytime safely😊
Public space first, then their place, and finally my place if/when I feel comfortable.

When I was dating, I had a bunch of pets (which generally makes having visitors difficult) and I also didn’t really want to give away my financial status.
I feel like if I need to figure out where I’m most comfortable then I’m not really comfortable around that person.
Theirs, it’s easier to leave than to kick someone out. My home is where I have my alone time, and my alone time is sacred.
I don’t give it any thought personally. Whoever’s place is closest usually.
Usually theirs because I can leave when I want (assuming I don’t get drugged/murdered) and I don’t have to worry about kicking them out when I’m ready for them to leave. I don’t like sharing a bed with people overnight until I really like them. Also, seeing where they live kinda* proves that they aren’t scammers or married.
*obviously some people go to crazy lengths to pretend to be someone else
That’s hard choice. Their place – their territory, and he has an advantage, there could be someone else too, etc. My place – my territory, but he now knows where i live. I guess i would still prefer his, unless i’m moving out soon, but that’s really hard choice.

I usually went to their place since it was easier to sneak out while they were sleeping instead of having to get them out of my home next morning.

I never thought about it from a safety perspective because I only invite/go to people’s house when I feel completely safe already
