I (25F) met this guy a month ago (30M) and I liked him a lot but after 2 weeks I noticed he wasn’t asking much about me and would avoid my questions when I wanted to know more about him so I stepped back from him. He then started hitting me up a lot and I told him I’m looking for something serious and he’s not really giving the right vibe but he convinced me that him online and him in real life are completely different and that I should wait till we get to hang out (properly again cause the first time we met was irl and honestly he wasn’t that much different from his persona on the phone). Wants something serious too and is at the age where he doesn’t want to play games.
Now it’s been weeks and he hasn’t made any solid plans for a date and I do allude to it whenever I can but idk man shouldn’t it be obvious lol ? This is a first for me so I don’t want to self sabotage, maybe he takes things slower but it’s like if you need more time to get to know me but aren’t actually getting to know me then what exactly are we doing?
Am I over thinking it? I hate going with the flow and I do like when someone has a sense of urgency for me but I’ve been trying to avoid the usual traits I experience with men . Honestly this has made me not like him as much anymore and if anything I’m so confused.
