Ok so the guy (M34) I'm (F36) seeing told me a few days ago that he is a Flat Earther. Not only that but he believes in a lot of conspiracy theories…
Been there, done that. Now, we are kinda new to each other (4 months or so) but so far he's checking all my boxes, and I assume I'm checking at least most of his?
And don't get me wrong! I don't see him any different than I did before. If he wants to believe that the government makes money off of your birth certificate (🙄) then fine. I have my own beliefs and faith and I do my best not to judge anyone because of theirs: do unto others and all that.
My worry is that if he feels like I don't take him seriously he might lose interest. For the record, he is a very not serious person but I can tell that he feels deeply about what he believes – as do I and anyone else.
So I wonder if I should talk to him about it or just stop overthinking like I usually do?
Also: if you're a Flat Earther, kudos to you. I just choose not to believe in it. Same way with your choice of religion. So please, don't think that I'm attacking anyone's belief
