I 27m and my partner 28f have been together 3 years, relationship as a whole is amazing and I am lucky to have her.
There is one issue, that we disagree on and I need some unbiased opinions.
We live together in a rented apartment but text reguarly throughout day when either of us is not home. My issue is, usually when shes on vacation is that she will not reply to my texts but will upload instagram stories, and for some reason this bothers me, not because she hasn't replied, but because she will take a photo of something she finds interesting/cool and uploads it, but if she thinks something is interesting/cool why wouldnt she tell me, my thinking when I see something I like is to tell her, as I want to share it with her, my first thought is telling her, not instagram. It does also bother me when shes not replied for multiple hours but has multiple stories up, which means she sees Ive texted her but she would rather post on instagram to reply. Even typing this out I feel im being sensitive, but I just feel as im not a priority, or that Im expecting her to treat me like I treat her, I dont post on instagram so maybe thats the difference. But I can't think of a time where I would see a text from her and not reply, but will be posting stories.
Has anyone else ever felt this and how do you overcome it ?
