I have posted a little bit about this, but basically, after five years together, and raising my son from another relationship together, and then 7 months ago having a baby together, my partner decided that he felt like he missed out on living the young and single life, and he wanted to move out and move in with his parents, and we are sharing the baby half-and-half. The issue I am still struggling with, beyond the obvious, is the fact that he abandoned me with all of the bills that we had jointly except for Daycare(he’s still paying his half). For context, my aunt bought the house for myself and my son, and we rent the house from her. He left me with less than 30 days notice that he would no longer be paying half of the Rent, utilities, Internet, etc.
Is it bad to feel like he pulled the rug out from under me and abandoned me financially?
