I opened the gel several years ago and it expired on 9/24. Is it still safe to use? What can happen if I still use it? And is it still effective? Or is it safer or better to throw it away? Does anyone know what happens with the gel like on a chemical level when it expires? Or how it generally works and what effect time can have on it?
