So… I matched with a girl on Hinge, and we’ve been chatting for a few days. I suggested meeting up, offering an activity near her location and two possible dates. She then asked where I live (even though it’s already on my profile, but girls tend to never read my profile anyway). I told her my location and added that I’d be happy to come to her area. Her response was: “😌 Okay, let’s talk and see if we’re okay together. ”
Since I’m still pretty new to dating and English isn't my native language, I’m not sure how to interpret that. Does it mean she’s open to meeting in person? If so, why didn’t she mention which day works better for her? Could she be suggesting a phone call instead, although she hasn’t shared her number? Or does she just want to keep chatting on the app for now?
I realize this might sound like a silly question, but I really want to understand her response correctly. I don’t want to come across as rude or insecure and risk getting unmatched or ghosted because I misread the situation.
