Hi all! I’m a 22F (not originally from the UK) new to London and really want to go watch the champions league at a pub tonight. Thing is, none of my friends around me are interested in football so I don’t have company but I’ve really been looking forward to tonight’s game for a while lol.
I’m not really looking to socialise or make new friends (though I would welcome this depending on the vibe), just simply wanna go watch the game and have a pint. I see guys go by themselves all the time but never seen a woman do this. And I hate to admit, but it probably would make me feel weird/a bit under-confident to go solo as a woman if this isn’t common practise.
Wanted to know if it’s generally ok/advisable to go alone as a woman and if anyone would bat an eye?
