Married to a wonderful woman, and we have a son together. I work in upper retail management, build instruments and furniture in my woodshop, and I’m a 6 year recovered alcoholic and enjoying every second of my sobriety… I’m not perfect, but I strive to be the best person I can be. Never put a finger on my wife, and got sober before our son was born, which is something I’m immensely proud of. Never cheated, never talk to other women outside of professional work settings, and take my role as husband and father VERY seriously as a lifetime vow..
With that out of the way, I see a ton of posts with understandably distraught, angry, or fed up moms and wives from all backgrounds. SAHM’s to corporate career professionals, there seems to be quite an epidemic happening in our country… and even as a man myself, I have to ask… What is wrong with the men in our society?
I’m in no way perfect, but I want to establish this post as a safe place for women to vent, and pick the brain of a husband and father who has never cheated, run out on his family, or continued to use alcohol/drugs after promising to quit..
