Long story short I am looking for some tips to ensure that my assets pre-marriage are PROVABLY mine and kept separate.
Not so much my "things" but my savings and investments. I'm 37 and have built up a decent nest egg. My partner on the other hand has a great job but spends a lot of money. We are transparent about or finances but I want some tips to ensure that, should things take a turn, that my assets are easily proven to be mine before marriage in court.
I'm thinking I will just never deposit into those accounts again. Withdrawal? Yes. But all future savings and investments go into a new account.
