I (F26) am going to preface this by saying I have UTIs around 6-8 times a year. It is triggered by stress, and my life has quite an abundance of that.
I have no problem using lube for my vaginal canal. However, thinking about using lube on my clit makes me wince. I’m just worried that I’ll get a UTI. I’m hyper sensitive there, so it also makes me feel uncomfortable imagining the area being covered in lube. However, I feel like sex would be so much more enjoyable for me if I used lube there… same for toys. I’m just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience to me, and if they use a particular brand of lube? I don’t know how to get over this! I have been using Astroglide lube as a reference.
