Hi all – looking for some advice.
We recently had a new Howdens kitchen fitted, including a 900 mm peninsula made from a 600 mm unit plus a 300 mm breakfast bar. We now wish we’d skipped the breakfast bar and used that space for extra storage (drawers/cupboards), because it hardly gets used and we’re short on storage.
The issue is: the worktop is quartz.
Is it possible to retrofit cabinets underneath a quartz worktop that’s already installed, or is that unrealistic without removing the worktop? There’s no waterfall end, if that matters.
We’re on a tight budget, so having the quartz removed and refitted professionally isn’t really an option.
