Baffled by my country’s position to say the least. The government, not the people. Don’t think anyone actually supports it.
I have not the first bit of trust in those MEPs who supposedly oppose Chat Control. I just know a bunch of them, if not the majority, are going to deceive.
Chat Control is the worst piece of legislation I think I’ve ever seen and I’ve been involved in writing some in the past
Undecided, I know this is bad, very bad on the personal level, but should I have hope that the real intention is to fight the russian online propaganda or any kind of this bullshit ?
Also the fact that it’s not really clear if the politicians are extempted for this while in office or for life is a very bad sign.
I really want these fuckers (EU politicians) to tell us the truth, we can handle it. I come from a country that westerners considers corrupt, but let me tell you, I can smell the thing called corruption, and while the western games are smoother and fancier, they are far more dangerous and treacherous.
Glad our national MEPs are opposing it apparently, but amazed this is even on the table.
Feels like something our national governments are trying to sneak into national legislation through a backdoor, since people pay less attention to EU politics than national politics.
