Hiya all,
So, really random question, but did anyone receive a phone call yesterday (Or recently in general, I guess?) from an unknown number claiming to be from Alcoholics Anonymous? Now, totally sober, I obviously answered no, and the guy (Posh voice, dunno if he just wanted to sound like a Doctor or something) claimed that I had my information forwarded to them, and they were concerned about how much I drink and the photos they had seen on my Facebook. They asked how much I had had to drink, whether a morning or afternoon appointment would be suitable for me, and when I'd like to come in. (Also, I don't have Facebook.) I started asking them who they thought I was, but they wouldn't answer, and then just said:
"Well, you've been the part of a practical joke, what do you think about that?" and hung up. Weird right? It might be for a radio show, but I have no idea how they got my number and how they called from an unknown number. Has anyone else been through something similar?
