It’s pretty clear that as we get older, our priorities shift. Most of us end up focusing more on our careers, raising families, traveling, and everything else that comes with adult life. With everyone getting busier, how often do you all still get to talk, chat, call, or hang out with your friends?
I’m going through a rough patch right now. I’ve been struggling with my mental health these past few days and weeks. My parents’ health issues, family problems, work stress, anxiety—everything just feels heavy. I’m single, I work from home, and my friends live in different cities, hours away. I try to reach out to them sometimes, but I get that they’re busy with their own lives too. It’s just been feeling really tough and lonely lately. I go to the gym almost regularly, but because of my job, I workout at night. That’s probably one of the things helping me keep my mental health together. It's just, it's not easy to deal with these problems alone.
