I’ve just graduated w a finance degree, and am seeing many peers announce their new corporate gigs.
I plan to be real eventually, but rn am counting down the days until my flight for a working holiday ski szn, which will be followed by another working holiday in the summer.
Ik (atm) its just one year “off”, but I can’t help but feel immature when people ask why I’m currently working at a coffee shop if I have a degree.
The jobs I’m going to work during these WHVs are solely to pay the bills and dont add anything to my resume relating to a my degree. I won’t be burning cash, but its definitely a pause on “real life”.
