Hello Everyone! I am currently living in Germany and will have off the week between Christmas and New Years Dec 25-30.
I want to travel to somewhere in Europe and just explore and do some fun things and/or eat good food. Is there any places that don’t completely close down this week? Any suggestions on cities or towns to go to?
I’m thinking large cities like London, Paris, Madrid are safe bets? I wanted to try to see the northern lights in Scandanavia but it seems like most everything is closed? Is that true? Even just getting an Airbnb cabin in the middle of nowhere sounds fun but not sure if that’s possible.
Any other suggestions for cities or countries that are open for restaurants, cafes, etc or outdoor activities would be appreciated!
