Hi Europe, considering a walking holiday in Europe next fall. We are mid-60s and in reasonable health, but not confident I would have the endurance to walk the Camino – especially while carrying a backpack.
We are looking for scenic areas where we can walk 10-20 km a day with ample opportunity to take break days in between. Bonus points if we can send our luggage on ahead.
For context, we were in Italy this year where we hiked in Cinque Terre and on the Path of the Gods in Amalfi. Cinque Terre was challenging because of the slope and rough path; Path of the Gods less so.
