I’m a mid-20s guy and I’m genuinely confused about it, hoping people here can give me some clarity.

I’ve always been told by friends, family, that I’m “attractive,” “cute”. But on dating apps (Hinge especially), I get almost zero female attention. Few matches like a 10-20% acceptance on the likes I send and 0 likes coming from women first.

To explain what I mean by “soft features”: I look young for my age, have a friendly face, and I don’t have that super sharp jawline / rugged look. I come off more like “cute, approachable, safe” rather than masculine or edgy.

So I’m honestly asking, for women, are soft looking men less appealing on apps?

Do guys who look “sweet” or “cute” get filtered out because they don’t seem masculine / whatever?

Also if soft featured men are some women’s type, how do I actually reach those women on Hinge?
Is there something I should adjust in my profile, photos, or prompts so I attract women who appreciate that look?

Other details — as per my friends and cousins, my prompts are good, I am 6ft tall, have a good corporate job. I am not slim or toned but also not over weight.

Thanks!
