I (25m) was talking to this girl (24f) for a couple weeks after meeting her on a dating app. She gave me her phone number and we have been texting. We also did a FaceTime call that went great.
We met today for coffee. It lasted a little over an hour. We talked about work, family, and traveling. We were both smiling, laughing, and asking questions. She mentions she enjoys alone time and likes to travel alone. In her dating profile she said no sex until marriage.
I was so nervous about finally meeting her all this week. After we left, we both said we liked talking to each other and I asked her if she wanted to get dinner sometime which she said yes. But after I got home I sent her a text saying it was really good meeting her. She replied by thanking me for the coffee and that she thinks I am great guy but only sees me as a friend. I asked her why and she said she thinks the chemistry is missing.
I feel hurt and angry that every girl I meet always says I am a great guy but doesn't want to proceed. I am looking for something serious and it just feels like that is non-existent.
