My partner (M23) and I (F24) have been very happily together for a little over 4 years now.
Pretty much after 8 months or so, we started sleeping over as often as possible. This would at first be every weekend, and then slowly more and more often. Right now and for the past 6 months we spend every single night together and are looking into moving in together soon.
However, there is one major issue that concerns us both: We are completely unable to get out of bed when we are next to each other. Alarms will go off, we have plans to get up and do something, and yet we will snooze until the last possible minute just to cuddle a little bit longer.
This isn't a restfulness issue either, we wake up and we're not tired, we don't really fall asleep again, we just don't get up and instead continue to cuddle in bed for as much as 40 minutes to an hour.
Any way to…. Fix this? Is there anyone else who has had this issue and somehow figured out a solution? I really don't want to have separate beds but it feels like we are completely non functional right now.

Me and my bf have the same issue. I usually have to be the one to rip the bandaid off and get up. It sucks. Usually I’ll get up, use the restroom, and then set out his work clothes for him as he starts to get up to use the restroom. We also set our alarms for 30 mins before he absolutely needs to be up to get to work on time.
Just get the fuck out of bed… What a cringe ass post lmao. Get some self discipline… Why is this even a reddit post? You sound pathetic
That sounds cute, unless it’s making you late for work/school/etc.
If it is, you MUST get separate beds when you have important plans the next day.
Then sleep in the same bed when you want to rest the next day.
