I’ve been wanting to meet older women who actually know what they want, but most of the dating apps I’ve tried feel like a waste of time. I’m not into hookups only, I’d like to meet someone confident, experienced, and maybe build something real. I’m in my late 20s and live in a mid-sized city, so I’m hoping there are some apps that actually have active users around here.
I tried Tinder and Bumble, but it’s mostly people my age or younger.
What dating app have you found works best for meeting older women who are genuinely interested in younger guys?

Mature, older, hot, single women who know what they want *don’t need apps to meet men*. You gotta find them in real life.

Older women have standards too.
Match or POF. Bumble is the best but if you seek 45+ women, many of them start here because they’re cheaper options. I view these as gateway apps for mature women.
Facebook dating.
Hinge
Hey man, totally get where you’re coming from. I’m in my late 20s too and felt the same way. I wanted to meet older women who actually know what they want, not just endless swiping.
Tinder and Bumble didn’t do much for me either, so I tried a few others:
* **CougarLife** – sounds cheesy, but it actually has active people if you’re near a decent-sized city.
* **OlderD** – smaller crowd but more genuine matches.
* **OurTime** – more for 40+, but great if you want something real.
A big thing that helped me was just being honest in my bio, mentioning that I appreciate confidence and experience. It attracts the right kind of people.
Don’t get discouraged, though. There are older women out there who want something real, too; it just takes a bit of filtering to find them.
Just hit your local hotel bar……
Look up concert venues near you and see where cover bands play 70s and 80s music.
Hinge worked for me in the past at that age. Just set the age range and you’re good to go.
You have to increase minimum age in your app filter criteria and I am happy to know that men have positive views about dating older women. However cougar is considered as a derogatory term to shame women who like younger guys but it is considered pretty normal for men to date way younger women.
