I’m in college and my roomate and I are pretty close, so she invited me to a small Halloween party at her brother’s apartment. Well I made a friend here and we’ve been talking for a couple weeks and he doesn’t have plans for Halloween. I want to share the joy of Halloween with him, but I have no idea if it’s appropriate to ask if I can invite him… the complications are that I don’t know the hosts very well at all, I’ve talked to a couple of them a couple times, but I’m only really close to my roommate. Since it’s a smaller party, is it rude/will it make it awkward to ask? But I also don’t want to not at least attempt to invite my friend! Be brutally honest… I’m new to all this
