I was out with my dog at like 10pm and just staring into nothing while he was doing his thing, there was this SUV parked close by I wasn't directly staring at, but my dogs a little guy, so it's hard to see him anyhow and I looked like I was alone, when I heard someone shuffling I was fully expecting someone to get my dog to away, because admittedly they won't like it sometimes even when it's a random patch of grass.
I wish because this woman came and was "Uh can I help you?" but in a not wary and suspicious way genuinely wondering, but more like a "I've settled on what your intentions are, that's a rhetorical question, I want to scare you off" way.
I was pulling away with the dog and just kinda stuttered out that "I was walking my dog… sorry" and didn't hear anything back. I just fucked off and kept on walking after that in a panic.
