I recently joined a new community and I’m trying to figure out how to find the right middle ground between keeping to myself and getting to know people.
I’m naturally private, but I don’t want to come across as cold or uninterested. On the other hand, I also value boundaries and don’t want to overextend myself.
For those who’ve had to integrate into new groups, what helps you show friendliness without opening yourself up to unwanted involvement?
