That's the time where there are many likeminded people who happen to fall into a similar age group as you. After that trying to find friends your age is 100x harder considering the age gap that will be present at events or volunteering activities. Not only does it sting to not make any relationships during University, but the effects of this sting past your graduation which makes it even more painful. "It will get better" should only be said to people going into College because if you don't find friends during that period it seems like you're just gonna be lonely for life. I want to die so badly lol
