So last night my friend and I went out to a night club, we had a very fun time.

My friend wanted to leave at about 2 hours before the club closes and I was trying to convince him that we should stay till the end because we don’t go out that often so we should make the most of it.

He didn’t want to he was insisting on leaving because he had things to do the next day, I just didn’t want to leave yet because it was so fun.
We went back and forth in a polite way (we’ve been friends since high school) and then after about 2 minutes I said ok fine let’s go home.

This is all totally fine nothing wrong with this, but me, I overthink things a lot and a lot of the things I say can be taken in a wrong way because of my monotone voice and RBF, but I am genuinely a really friendly person.

Now I’m overthinking about if I should call my friend and apologise to him and that I should’ve just agreed to go home instantly. And I don’t want him to get the wrong picture that I was like angry or anything.

A YouTube video also just came into my suggested and the 2nd point in the video was about pleasing others and seeking validation, which perfectly describes what I would be doing here by apologising.
