I 22M is on my semester break. And recently ive just moved continents, i want to build my social skills further, and I've been doing something called sidequesting where i go out of my house and live new experiences just by merely asking
2 days ago, i decided to visit a fire station as i might be a little special and have an interest in trucks. I visited and just straight up asked. The captain was amazing and gave me a full detailed tour of a fire truck. And i had a great time
Yesterday i decided i wanted to go fishing with a stranger, i went to a bait shop and repeated the same technique by just asking, they couldnt help but pointed me to a different shop who could, they couldnt help as well but pointed me to a docks where fisherman hung out at. I didn't manage to go fishing, but i made friends with 2 fishermen who were extremely nice, we had a long conversation, and they even cooked me a free crab
Today, i took a bus that i had never taken before, found a hiking trial, and found one of the best view spots I've ever seen in my life
I would like some suggestions on tasks that i can further carry out on my sidequesting journey as i believe we miss out on so much in life just because we are afraid of asking or trying out new things. Life is short, i want to live it to the fullest, Much love!
