(Serious) Men who have dealt with loss of a love one how do you get over it?

So I’m a 16 male and my grandpa is about to die soon. I’ve been trying to act normal for the past month but it’s hard seeing him knowing he will die any day. How do you deal with a loss because it has never happened to me before.
