I realise whenever I am used to the environment of a quiet and calm environment, my volume of speech would adjust to the environment such as in the library or at an air-condition room. People will tend to talk quietly especially when the room is quiet or when nobody is talking which is normal but when it comes to group discussions that’s when I would have to talk louder or when I leave the quiet room. During discussions, people would say that they can’t hear me maybe due to my volume and articulation in speech especially in group discussion setting.

I really need help with speaking from the diaphragm and not from my throat, it comes on and off speaking from my diaphragm on certain days and I want to overcome facing it. It’s usually when it’s enthusiastic days and energy that I may sound louder…
I have tried being a leader in group settings to train to talk louder, but it didn’t help.

How can I “remember” or make it natural for myself to know when I should speak louder? Is there an exercise to talk loudly from the diaphragm?

Is there things or exercises that I can do to articulate my speech clearly that it comes natural everyday?
