Does your country have a high diversity of surnames, or very few?

For example, I read that in Denmark, one third of the population share the same 10 surnames.

In Italy and Greece meanwhile, there is a huge diversity of surnames, and even the most common surnames are shared by only a few people. Surnames are also very locally-specific, with each village having its own cluster of surnames not found anywhere else in the country.
