Honestly just curious about what everyone thinks, I’d like to just open a discussion 🙂 Obviously as we know looks and attraction matter when it comes to dating, more to some than others. Both men and women pay attention to that, but I’ve been wondering who do you think has higher standards (sexes are not a monolith, I’m aware).
In my experience, I’ve seen pretty women date guys that would be considered (by society) as below their league, and women saying they like medium ugly guys. “As long as you’re tall/fit, the face doesn’t matter”. However, as a woman, you have the expectations of a perfect body, perfect skin, button nose, full lips, etc. and I’ve never seen a guy say he likes ‘medium ugly’ girls. In my experience, some guys definitely have an image in their head they consider ideal and anything slightly different from that is ‘chopped’, while many women see the beauty in unique features.
