So I’ve recently moved into an upstairs flat that has carpets with underlay.

The downstairs neighbours have so far complained about me walking across the floors.
Flushing the toilet late at night and my tv is too loud.
And they can hear my microwave.
Is this reasonable?
They’ve knocked at my door 4 times this past week to ask me to be quieter.

I’ve honestly tried to be as quiet as I possibly can! I never wear shoes indoors and it’s getting to the point I’m tip toeing to the loo in the middle of the night. And being scared to flush the chain!

I don’t have visitors or play loud music.
I’m convinced they are sat waiting for me to move so they can complain.
I’ve been really polite so far as i haven’t lived here long at all. But I’m at the point of telling them that there’s not much else I can do and to stop knocking.
