I am going to an event in London in November that is black tie. This particular event will be the strictest of strict black tie and hosted by people who understand the dress code inside out. I've gone and gotten a tux, in process of finding some new shoes as well as shirt studs and cufflinks (I want a matching set).
My question is around earrings. I have a standard ear piercing in one ear, and an upper ear piercing in the other. Would men wear earrings in these circles? If they do can I wear something a little blingy or is plain better?
