The UK is often ridiculed for its archaic separated hot and cold taps.
I have mixer taps at home, but I confess I only ever use either full hot or full cold. Either I want hot water, for washing, in which case I’ll turn it all the way to hot. Or I want cold water, for drinking, in which case I’ll turn it all the way to cold. I’ve never found the need for luke warm water. I have separate taps in one bathroom and it’s never been a problem.
Anyone else? Or just me.
For what it’s worth, I set my boiler temperature to 50c so the hot water isn’t too hot.
