I have enhanced PIP and was accepted on Motability Scheme. I chose Honda Jazz Crosstar Advance with advance payment of £599. I was happy to receive the Agreement, dated 9th September 25, awarding me this car, and sold my 26-year old Honda CR-V. Honda dealership offered a choice of colours and I chose Nordic Mist (blue). Several days later Honda Motability Specialist phoned me to say that they do not have the car in my colour, and have to wait for a delivery from Honda – approximately 3 weeks. I was given a choice: wait for Jazz in Nordic Mist, or, accept one in white or black. I chose to wait. On the 2 October Honda Mobility Specialist phoned me to inform that I have lost the car altogether as Jazz is no longer available in Motability new quarter offers – I could have Honda HR-V with advance payment of £1,999 but have to make a new application. I phoned Motability who carraborated this, and stated that they are not obliged to honour the Agreement of 9 September, confirmed by two emails at the end of September. Has anyone had a similar experience? Advice will be appreciated, I am disadvantaged without a car.
