I met my husband in March of 2023. We got married in September 2025. He got divorced in 2022 and has two children with his ex. They are supposed to visit their dad every other weekend. He pays child support every single month and has never missed a payment. He loves his children and misses not being able to see them everyday. His ex wife is causing a lot of problems and my husband gets so upset and depressed that he won't speak to me for days when his ex refuses to bring the kids over on his weekend. She says they're coming and then doesn't show up or answer his calls or texts. My daughter recently told me that her step sister and brother told her that their mother hates me because I "stole her husband from her." Again, their divorce was finalized in 2022. I didn't even know this man until March of 2023. So his ex is lying to her kids and making them believe I broke up their family, which never happened. Then, she recently accused my husband of not paying child support. He screenshotted me his CashApp where it's very clear he has sent her full child support every single month as far back as CashApp will let you go. I don't know what's wrong with his ex or why she's doing this. The kids were supposed to be here this weekend and never showed up. My daughter texted both of them and they never responded even though they always respond and keep in touch when they're not with us. I know my husband is going to be angry when he wakes up in the morning and realizes his kids aren't there. Thanks to his ex, my weekend will be completely ruined. My husband is going to be angry and depressed and will want to be left alone. I suggested we go to court and try to get full custody but for some reason he doesn't want to do that. Has anyone else faced this issue?? What can I do??
